Hi everyone - this is Mona. I used to work with Keith at Oshkosh for 2 years and he was like my family. His will be on Wednesday, May 23rd. The viewing is from 11am -1pm and the service is at 1pm at the church. Hiberia Baptist in Orange park. 7100 Hwy 17 S, Fleming Island, 32003 The family has requested that there be donations in Keith's name to the Wounded Warrior project instead of flowers.

Okay ya'll...Got three briskets (black Angus), 4 butts and 11 slabs of ribs!!!! I can handle any of ya'll Saturday!! I have decided that once I make my costs back, the rest is going to Dect. Whites family...Forget the 25%...I want to help this family before I get outa here for a while...So come see me Saturday!!! Get some "Q" and say goodbye to me...Thanks, Keith/SSBBQ

Okay final status update from this weekends comp...
2nd place chicken
4th place ribs
1st place pork!
Reserve Grand Champion!!!
3 trophies, 14 medals, and two giant banners!!
I want to thank Brad Litchfield for all his help this weekend and the fact that he did the "peoples choice" cooking for me!!! he did a great job all weekend!!! He said that he learned alot and I hope that he did...I really enjoyed having him with me to run interference with the media and the crowd! We starting giving out samples at 12 noon and 20 minutes later...WE WERE OUT!! I am very happy and proud of what we accomplished this weekend...Now this coming weekend should be me last weekend at the "corner" due to my new job starting on Monday...Remember, 25% of all proceeds are going to Dect. Whites family!!! See ya'll Saturday!!!

Just so ya'll know....I cannot stress this enough!!!!!!!! The Dainel Cook-off is only one week away!!!!! PLEASE GET YOUR TICKET ONLINE EARLY!!! $15 bucks now versus $20. at the gate!!! Okay got some more info about the JAX BBQ Comp!!! Go to www.danielkids.org for advance tickets!!! $15.00 in advance..$20 at the gate!!! Get yours EARLY!!! I WILL BE GIVING OUT BBQ FOR FREE!!! I know thats hard to believe, but its all for charity and I want to help these kids out. Keith/SSBBQ

Here is the BBQ schedule for the month of May...
May 4/5th---JACKSONVILLE BACKYARD BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP! All monies go to the Charity of Daniel. Come see me and get free BBQ samples!!! After 2pm!!!
May 12th-On my corner selling for THE LAST TIME!!!!!! 25 percent of all profit going to Officer Whites Family. I have been sent a job overseas so the 12th is the last day that I will be there....
May 18/19th...Starke Florida for the "Boots and BBQ bash" !!! FBA sactioned event...Hope to see ya'll out there for this event..By the way, the band Friday night?????????????? MOLLY HATCHET!!!!
