Almost 7 weeks old and fully feathered 🐥 time for the chicks first night out of the brooder.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to transition them with the adults and I decided to use the old covered chicken run in their pen as a temporary transition area. It’s not the most secure so I’m hoping just a couple days in there will be sufficient. Wish us luck! 🤞 🍀

I definitely need to w**d the pathways and w**d wack around the fence line but the raised beds are looking good! Soon I’ll have peas and I can’t wait to get strawberries next month. Some of my greens have bolted and need replaced but other than that everyone seems happy lol

Now to finish planting my in ground garden beds! There’s not enough time in the day 🤣

The paper w**d barrier allows water to pool up until you cut into it. I hope it doesn’t eat the sunflower seeds I just planted in different beds 😩 It’s still cute either way 😂

Got all the TPosts up for the flower garden fence! And my rows are finally all laid out. Then I started working on irrigation. I’ll finish laying out the mainline and drip tape tomorrow and will direct sow sunflowers on Friday!🌻 I think I’ll do some corn and a small pumpkin patch on the left 🌽 🎃 🤔 very excited!
