A Love That Remains
These three memory bears represent far more than fabric and thread.
As I worked on them, I couldn't help but think about the incredible woman who loved and cared for this little girl from the time she was a newborn until she was 27 months old. Foster parents willingly pour their hearts into children, knowing that one day they may have to let them go.
What a beautiful and difficult calling.
For 27 months, this precious child knew the comfort of loving arms, bedtime stories, scraped-knee kisses, encouragement, laughter, and someone cheering for every milestone. Those months mattered. Those memories matter.
When their time together came to an end, the love didn't.
It is an honor to create memory bears that help preserve a season of life that was filled with sacrifice, devotion, and unconditional love. My prayer is that every time these bears are hugged, they serve as a reminder that love is never wasted and that God uses faithful hearts to change lives in ways we may never fully understand.
"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." β 1 John 3:18
