Some shirts hold so much more than fabric and thread. ❤️

This memory bear was made from a special 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series Champions shirt belonging to a woman’s late husband, who was a Cubs fan.

Now a shirt connected to him, and to that unforgettable Cubs season, has been turned into something she can hold onto and treasure.

Yesterday, this special bear headed out for a little drive to its new home, a few hours south.

A couple of questions I get asked:

Do you have to be local to order from Jen’s?
Not at all! We are happy to ship.

Need a different time than our regular shop hours?
No problem! We can arrange a time that works just for you.

Because preserving a special memory shouldn’t depend on where you live—or whether our shop hours fit your schedule.

Each morning, I start my day with some quiet time in God’s Word. It’s a simple part of my routine that helps center my heart before the day begins.

Today, though, my quiet time included a little field trip to a favorite spot— Higher Grounds - Freeport

God’s Word, a good cup of coffee, a scone, and a cozy corner to sit and linger a little longer. Such a special treat!

I’d love to do this more often…but then maybe it wouldn’t feel quite so special. Sometimes a little change of scenery makes an ordinary morning feel like a gift. ❤️
