Torque Monster Coffee (TMC) was born when Luis Rivera, TMC owner and founder observed a 12 Hours of Sebring race from a slightly different perspective. Unlike his fellow race spectators who were enjoying the race that day, Luis found himself in a transformative frame of mind- one that warped the obvious race and refocused his internal lens to the more physical aspects of the contest. He isolated t
he sharp turns as the sound of screeching engines scorched the clear Florida sky. For Luis, this experience was a baptism of sorts because with each passing moment, he seemed to gain a “higher” understanding of the battle that is “RACING.” It was all about a moment of force - TORQUE. With each lap, the concept grew as he considered the race and how it applied to multiple facets of life, including the result of fantabulous coffee blends. In fact, it was MONSTROUS! By the end of the race, Luis found himself obsessed with what he felt was an undeniable connection between the love of racing and the passion that so many coffee and race enthusiasts share. It was then and there, he combined the two and Torque Monster Coffee (TMC) was born. Luis is passionate about the racing world and knows that every “cup of force” from TMC will reflect what he experienced on that magical race day.
