One of our chickens, Robin was the special guest this morning for a baby bookworms class at the public library. I was told the kids kept waving at her from their seats. 🥹 The kids didn't know she was gonna be there so it was a fun surprise for them, I'm sure. Thank you, to a friend for asking us to borrow a chicken, for the 2nd time since owning chickens. I love how she tries to make these learning experiences fun for the kids!

* Robin did great & was home within 2 hours to live her best backyard chicken life with the rest of the flock.

After nearly an inch and a half of rain since late last night, the sunflower circles are giving fall/rustic vibes.

I've not needed mine yet but Andrew used the Mullein last winter & he felt it breaking up quickly too.

Interrupted a goldfinch family buffet so I could attempt to save more seeds to plant next year.

Started this mealworm farm many months ago after buying 2 different kinds of live mealworms. Initially, I wasn't planning on making this a thing but here we are.
