Salsa de Oro's first public debut was April 1, 2015, at the Downtown Oroville Wednesday Farmers' Market. Our local-to-local authentic tomato salsa is made without added preservatives. We use traditional veggies and kosher sea salt and lots of TLC! That's it....no dry spices, vinegar, sugar, citrus, or oil. Folks are going tomatoes for Salsa de Oro! Hello Salsa de Oro Likers! We want to thank all the happy taste buds for enjoying our family recipe! We have made the difficult decision to pause service in Chico and Oroville. We love doing our salsa thing! We hope to return when our situation allows us the time. We now have our senior mom living with us who needs our care and attention. This isn't goodbye, just a temporary pause. We are genuinely grateful for the awesome support! Thank you for enjoying our 7-decade family recipe! Take good care of each other.
