Well I guess since I ran out of farm helpers to post, I suppose I’ll expose myself a little bit here. I’m Beth and I own and manage Silver Lining Farms. I’ve owned this farm since 2019, but have been farming since 2011. I started my farming journey on a neighboring dairy farm and fell in love. I grew from there. Got gifted my first calf in 2012, I still have her to this day! I raised chickens with my family shortly after that. I butchered my first set of pigs in 2016 and my first group of steers in 2017. The farm just continued to grow from there, especially when I came to the place I call home now. A little look into my personal life. I enjoy time with my dogs, mule, friends, and family. I struggle with my mental health, but I continue working on it everyday. A guilty pleasure of mine would be, Marlboro smooths and a cold moosehead. Don’t worry, I share a cold one with the brood cows from time to time, it’s good for their gut!

These two are a wonderful pair and willingly help me with any adventure. From loading pigs, to chasing loose steers through the woods on a Sunday morning. They’re always there when I need them. They come with a great sense of humor, too!
