We’re looking for some help!

Like we said before, we had a number of losses this year due early summer culling and more recently to predators. We need some good quality (dark preferred) BCMs. We’re open to hatching eggs, or chicks, but would love to get this going this fall!

Quick Ben’s Hens update…

We’ve taken a pretty good hit to our flock this year between predators and (soft) culling, so we’re working on rebuilding.

Thankfully, we’ve been able to find a few nice Black Copper Marans, and we’re still on the lookout for a few Cream Legbar pullets.

Our Speckled Olive Eggers continue to be awesome, so we’re excited about where those are headed!

Holy smokes, the response to our shipping testers has been AMAZING!

Give me a few to go through and try to get back to all of you. We are hatching a bunch over the next few weeks so we will need a few more testers!

We’re trying something new at Ben’s Hens and looking for our first live chick shipping tester.

We have 8 Speckled Olive Egger chicks ready to go. They are straight run.

Here’s the deal: you cover the shipping costs and we’ll provide the chicks at no charge. In return, we’re looking for someone willing to give us feedback on how they arrive so we can make sure our shipping process is solid before offering it regularly.
