Kringle Homestead

So far this season we have had decent luck on the homestead, while we had an unexpected suprise this spring with none of our seeds germinating (we used a new company that we won’t disclose) we have been able to have luck with getting fresh organic produce from some other amazing local farms to help us out. Because of this we have no got fresh garlic powder, Onion powder, parsley, and dill all dried and in jars for storage. We have also harvested almost 9lbs of blueberries for the freezer and also dehydrated some for baking. We have also been fortunate enough to harvest rhubarb seeds this season although unfortunately we never got the rhubarb itself due to the crazy weather we had. We hope everyone is having an amazing growing season so far!

It’s been a crazy and exciting time on the homefront since we were last super active with Kringle and the interaction from everyone as we have been sharing teasers has been fun. All that being said, Kringle as we all know and love it is no longer craft and decor focused. In raising our young family and looking at our faith, values and priorities, we have chosen to follow our hearts to a more holistic existence. We have been successful in growing our food and now we want to share those products and processes with others and empower others to remove the chemicals from their lives and reconnect with our planet and our sustenance. Without further ado, we present to you Kringle Homestead.

Our inaugural boil is complete, and this year we successfully tapped one tree to gain a comprehensive understanding of the process, which proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Next year we plan to expand our operations by tapping additional trees and increasing syrup production. Further updates will be provided in the coming months.
