🏡🍞 THE LOAF LODGE IS OPEN! 🍞🏡

If you were wondering why we missed the farmers market this week… well, sometimes the dough has other plans. 😅 A rather significant overproofing situation derailed market day — but the good news is that overproofed sourdough makes excellent focaccia.

So today the Lodge is stocked with:

🐝 Bee Sting
🤍 Plain Jane
🥖 Demi Baguettes
🍎 Apple Cinnamon Scones
🍪 Brown Butter Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies
🍞 Slice Slice Baby — large & small
✨ And a frankly ridiculous amount of focaccia in all sorts of flavors!

AND COMING LATER THIS AFTERNOON:
🫓 Sourdough Naan
🍕 Flatbread Pizza Crusts

So: did I make it to the market? No.
Did I turn my bread disaster into an accidental focaccia festival? Absolutely!

Come raid the Lodge while the shelves are full — and check back later if naan & pizza are what you’re after!

Apparently nothing says “Happy Birthday to Me!” quite like… cleaning out the bakery freezers. 😂🎂🍞 So this Saturday, we’re having a little BIRTHDAY FREEZER CLEANOUT SALE at the Loaf Lodge!

I’ll be digging through the freezers and pulling out an assortment of frozen sourdough loaves and other bakery goodies — perfect for stocking your freezer while making some room in mine. 😆

And because I can never just clean out a freezer without baking something…

✨ I’ll have a few fresh Plain Jane loaves
✨ Cinnamon Roll Sourdough Focaccia
✨ A few other fresh treats
🍕 And NEW pizza dough balls for the very first time!

This is just a small, low-key sale — no big production, just some good bread, birthday treats, and whatever treasures I uncover in the depths of the Pride & Breadjudice freezers. 😂

The Loaf Lodge has lots of Slice Slice Baby sourdough sandwich loaves available and it’s a PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN sale today! They are pre-sliced, 100% organic, and 100% vegan. Take a loaf or two and leave whatever fits in your budget… and if that’s nothing, it’s ok!

Whatever makes my our lives easier these day, am I right!?

There’s something about this part of the process that never gets old! Taking a handful of simple ingredients and knowing that by tomorrow, they’ll be beautiful loaves headed home with all of you, minus the elbow pain!

7:00 PM last night and I hadn’t even started making dinner. Enter the vegetarian BLT, but seriously elevated! Thank you Wolfeboro Area Farmers Market , for giving us a way to easily access beautiful, local food. You saved six hungry bellies last night!
