As a child my family ran a boy’s ranch for troubled teenage and young men with mental or social problems. It was a 75-acre property that housed about 110 people including the boys, staff, and their children. We raised pigs and cows to help support the place and we also had horses, ducks, rabbits, and a goat. Our philosophy was to live in harmony with nature with a practical outlook. I am much olde
r now with a dream I share with my grown son to create a farm that will provide a legacy for our extended family and helping people as we go. We intend to raise sheep and chickens in step with nature, not against it.
