Since I have confidence in the barriers, I'm making more before the day is over. I will definitely need more pipe to cover the whole garden! The concept seems legit though, so that's a good start :)

I ran out of cut pipe. I have 1 more to cut until I get more. This looks like its going to work for ehat I intended it for. Now to plop seeds in each one before the rain starts again. Wind started to blow a few minutes ago and the sky is pretty dark. Just what I need for a strong start!

Enjoying some mice weather today while I cut down some 2" pvc pipe to use in the garden marking seed spots. They will help block the bedding from covering up the seeds to give them a chance to sprout. Once they are big enough the pipes pieces will be removed for next time! I know I'm late into the game with tye garden this year. So much has been going on causing a delay in so many things, but I'm going to take a chance anyway in hopes to have something this year! No matter what I have to have a garden, even if its a quickly thrown together one. I'm doing something different this year too. Just randomly placing seeds to mimic nature more to see how everything grows. If it does well, I'll adapt it to next seasons garden! :)

We couldn't resist a slice! Even though it was made with my milled flower, it still tastes great! Better than store bought for sure :) its slightly under cooked so I'm going to pop them back in the oven to see if that helps to finish them off. Like I said, its been awhile since I've made bread...

Its been a long while since I baked any fresh bread or other baked goods. I've missed it! Apart of the reason its been so long is because my bill went out, among other reasons, and I haven't been able to get a replacement yet. I was really trying to avoid buying flour from the store, but I finally caved in for now. The bread is on its second rise before baking. The Tortillas I will cook tomorrow for breakfast. Can't wait to taste fresh bread again!

I couldn't finish the border around the pit yesterday because I ended up being sick in bed all day. Today I managed to get the border lined with bricks before the heavy rain fell. I'm slightly soaked getting the last 3 bricks laid. I was hoping to have all of it done today. Oh well.... I will resume the task tomorrow, granted there is no rain, and continue to do indoor tasks until dinner. Its looking good though and gives the pit a finished look :)

I bought a bit too much sand for the chicken coop, so I gotta find other ways to use it!

The current fire pit is getting an upgrade with a border of sand to help with fire prevention and to keep grass from growing right next to it. Also, it will give it a nicer look! I just might give it its own "patio" area with chairs where we can sit around the pit as well on the sand. I just need more bricks to border a larger area. I'll post an update photo once done.
