I apologize for being M.I.A last week, we had some pretty big things going on! As some of you may know, my passion for this business stemmed from helping my parents run Hillbilly’s BBQ. I took over doing desserts for the truck and instantly fell in love!

Well this past weekend Hillbilly’s attended a statewide Food Truck competition, and my dessert placed 2nd! We entered my Cookie Butter Tres Leches Cake, and I am still in shock that something I created received that kind of recognition!

I am also so incredibly grateful for everything Hillbilly’s has given me over the years! From being the place I discovered my passion to giving me the opportunity to use their commercial kitchen to create things I couldn’t make for B’s. Having that space to learn and experiment has played a huge part in how far I’ve come, and I’m very fortunate to have these opportunities.

This week’s menu is ready! 🍂 I added two new jumbo muffin flavors that are perfect for fall.

The pumpkin streusel muffins are soft, warmly spiced and topped with buttery crumble and maple glaze. 🎃 The double chocolate muffins are rich, fluffy and loaded with chocolate chips. You can mix and match the flavors when ordering a four-pack too!

Banana pudding cookies and jalapeño cheddar bread are also available this week. 🤗

I’ll be taking orders until noon on Thursday, September 24. Pickup will be Saturday, September 26 in Owensboro.

Here’s this week’s lineup:

🍌 Banana Pudding Cookies: Soft banana pudding cookies filled with white chocolate chips and pieces of vanilla wafers

🎃 Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread: A soft, spiced pumpkin loaf loaded with chocolate chips

🥯 Everything Bagel Bread: A soft, savory loaf covered in plenty of everything bagel seasoning

🍁 Maple Brown Sugar Cookies: Soft maple and brown sugar cookies with chopped pecans and maple icing

Preorders close Thursday, September 17 at 12 pm. Pickup will be Saturday, September 19 in Owensboro.
