As the Frigid temps approach the next couple days, we are working to Protect the Greens. We will be adding a Warming Layer on top of the Greens. The Course will be Closed from Friday thru Monday in an effort to keep the Greens free of foot traffic during the Cold temps. The Golf Shop will be open Friday, Saturday, and Monday for reduced hours of 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for any last minute Christmas Shopping you need. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hole #12 is a beautiful hole. We have started another of our Winter projects and that is to clean the Banks on both sides of the Creek and clean up the waterfall so it can show it’s beauty year round.

This weeks star is Evan Godfrey, Highland Park General Manager and Honours Golf Regional Operations Manager! Evan has been with Honours Golf his whole golf career - since 2005, when he began as an intern at Highland Park Golf (as shown in the picture). After almost a year internship at Highland, Evan moved to Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club as Head Golf Professional. After four years of the coast he made his way back to his original home in the heart of Birmingham, where he has been for 11 years. Evan also oversees the operations of Lagoon Park Golf Course, Gateway Golf Course, Cider Ridge Golf Club and The Frog Golf Course and Grille.
