Had my surgical oncology appointment get moved up to today due to a cancelation. To say I'm overwhelmed, and mentally and emotionally done, is an understatement. Surgery is scheduled for July 2.
May 28th I meet with the medical oncologist, the radiation oncologist and PT since I will be having at least one lymph node removed for biopsy.
I will apologize in advance for my low presence on Facebook in the coming days, weeks, months. This is not any easy time in my life and my business will have to take a back burner. Just know that Starlight Acres Farm is still here, we're still doing our thing, and we're very excited about the amazing kids that we will have to offer next year!

Starlight Acres Farm PmknSpice (Flying Feets DQ Pillowtalk x Redside CCQ Iced Latte) is blowing my mind at just 2 months old! Her escutcheon is so pretty! I mean, you can just picture her udder perfectly filling that arch! She has so much natural width between the hocks. Her sire's dam is Agape's Prize Me So Thorny VEEE90, who was 1st place 2 year old, 2nd Place udder at the 2023 ADGA Nationals! She is also a full sister to CH Agape's Prize Priscilla Presle EEEE92!
Pumpkin is loaded with amazing bloodlines! She makes her show debut this coming weekend! I'm super excited about this doeling!

5! That's right, 5. 5 little banded boys leave to go to their new home today! I am so grateful to this family who decided they wanted to start a herd of pet wethers. One for each of them, and one extra, for good luck. I'll miss these little guys, but I have to admit, it sure will be nice to have them off of my feed bill!

Drumroll please.... all of our available kids for the 2026 spring breeding season are sold!!! We have a VERY special kidding due in July, Agape's Prize Krewes Gold x Agape's Prize Ameriquinn Dahl, ( these kids will have the Agape's Prize herd name, as Ameriquinn was bred at Hilltop Farm by Mark Weir)but these kids are waitlist only at this time! We are hoping to get our tentative 2027 breeding schedule posted in a few days to a week's time! We may have a few fall kiddings, but with my recent diagnosis, those may have to wait until spring as well.

Again, due to my diagnosis, we are not showing through the spring/summer. We are really hoping to get the boys to one show in Texas in June, but other than that we hope to hit a couple of shows with juniors and bucks in the fall. All of our girls are being dried up.

This definitely was not how I saw this year going. But, I do believe everything happens for a reason and God's got this.

I am so excited to announce that this beautiful little girl, Starlight Acres Farm BourbonSt, was the highest selling goat at the AGPA Elite Performance Auction at Diamonds in the Rock ADGA show over the weekend! We were chosen by a committee to donate a kid to this auction, and then to have the top seller was just amazing!! All of the proceeds went to AGPA youth programs! Congratulations Nancy Jones on winning this sweet girl! I hope she does awesome things for you!
