Hey my lovely followers! Today was non-aninal judging for my county fair. I entered my honey and beeswax and got firsts on both and got a merit award for my honey again this year. I also presented the Montello FFA Chapter booth and we got a 1st on that. I am so happy with how these turned out and am looking forward to the rest of fair week. Tomorrow we bring our animals (lambs, pigs, and meat chickens). Let the fun begin!

Screaming a very loud Happy Father's Day to all the dads that follow me. But shouting an extra loud Happy Father's Day to my dad. He makes things happens and pushes me to be the best version of myself that I can be. He very rarely says no when I have an idea or animal I want to raise. He is one of the most hardworking individuals I have ever met and he is setting my standards pretty high. Thank you dad for all your guidance and support!

I took third overall this year. All the other finalist were seniors so I was up against some tough competition. I am grateful to everyone who helped me get to this point and hope to be back here again next year.

Hive inspection day! They are all doing good. There is a lot of brood so that is great! We added honey supers to all of them today also. With the warm weather coming we are anticipating lots of flowers and trees to start blooming.

I am trying to plant more native flowers and not use pesticides around my home! 🌻🌻🌻

Other things that can help is participate in no mow may and let those dandelions go. Bees love dandelions!
