A few years ago, Fazoli's had a deal that went truly beyond savings. For three solid years, for most of that time you could get a spaghetti with meat or tomato sauce, or a fettucine alfredo for only $4(with unlimited breadsticks if you ate in of course).
Pair that with a huge cup of sauce for only $2, and it became a weekend staple after work. Unfortunately, inflation and profits won out, and they were forced to change the deal to a "small" spaghetti or fettucine for $4. Now, there's a new deal for now.
For $4.99 you can get a baked fettucine alfredo. I got mine, got my $2 dipping sauce, and thanks to the rewards I got a drink, but I could easily just get a water and use a Wyler's Lite. I ate 13 breadsticks and took half of the pasta home. What an amazing deal.
They also have a $8 lunch special which includes a drink, two "small" spaghetti or fettucine or a slice of pizza or other options, and breadsticks, which isn't bad for lunch nowadays. But I think I'll stick with the alfredo.
