Virginia Heritage Orchards
The guiding principle of Virginia Heritage Farms is "Soil to Table." We are a 70 acre, sustainable, organic farm located just 15 minutes from downtown Leesburg. Our family owned business has been flourishing for over two years now and we are very excited to be opening our "doors," this summer. We only plant in 100% organic soil, with absolutely no chemical fertilization, and all of our produce is GMO free. Our animals live a healthy, free range life. They enjoy an organic diet and are treated with the humanity and dignity they deserve. At Virginia Heritage Orchards we believe the only way to farm is through sustainable, organic agriculture.
We grow sugar peas, cherry, beefsteak, and marzano tomatoes, green beans, carrots, kale, squash, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, sweet peppers, eggplant, onion, corn, pumpkins and watermelon. Virginia Heritage Orchards also offers fresh, raw milk, free range eggs and firewood.
Come visit our beautiful Loudoun County farm and pick your own, organic, fresh produce. And don't forget to grab some fresh eggs and raw milk, while you're there! And if you can't get to us; don't worry, we'll come to you. We will be introducing our VHO club this summer: a door to door delivery system of seasonal, fresh produce and milk and eggs.
We are just getting started at Virginia Heritage Orchards and just like our carefully tended farm, which grows bigger with each season, with the support of our local community, so will we.
Virginia Heritage Farms is owned and operated by local Leesburg native, Vincent Burke. Vincent is passionate about sustainable, organic farming and about the animals he tends. We invite you to join him in his in his journey to provide healthy, locally grown food to the community of Loudoun County.
"Virginia pride in every seed we sow."
