My kids love helping in the kitchen, but dinnertime is always the most stressful time to have little helpers underfoot. AD

What I love: it’s built for kids. Patience. Reading directions. Measuring. Taking turns instead of everyone grabbing at once (brotherly teamwork, sort of 😅).

I’ll admit — I micromanaged a little. But every box, I’m learning to step back and let them lead.

They were nervous at first… then you could see the confidence kick in as the bagels came together.

And the best part? Eating what we made. Genuinely — really good bagels. 🥯

🇺🇸 We just road-tripped across the ENTIRE country without leaving Chicago 😂

Jewel-Osco’s Party in the USA at Big City Pickle was the most fun we’ve had celebrating America’s 250th birthday — a Florida swamp with real reptiles, a moon landing bounce house, NYC graffiti walls, Vegas-style games… my kids didn’t know where to run first.
