Huge congratulations to Erin on Dionysus HC aka Donnie getting his conditional approval yesterday!

Donnie was bred by us and is a 2023 stallion by Apollo Sun out of Danza! That’s 2/2 for Danza’s sons for approvals! 😉

We are so proud of all the hard work she put into him! Congratulations!

👀 Well HELLO, Jeronimo…

Now that breeding season is finally behind us, we’ve had a little more time to pull some of the youngsters out of the back pasture and see what they’ve been up to.

Apparently we’ve been hiding this one. 😳🔥

Jeronimo HC, our 2025 Trakehner gelding by EH Hirtentanz and out of our Thoroughbred mare Jim’s Lillydale xx, is growing up in ALL the right ways.

This boy earned Premium at his foal inspection with scores of 8.5 / 8.5 / 8, and seeing him now as a yearling… we’re remembering exactly why. 🤩

Big frame ✔️
Beautiful shoulder ✔️
Legs for days ✔️
And that sporty, athletic look we love ✔️

One of my favorite parts of breeding is this stage: turning them out, letting them grow up, and then one day pulling them in and thinking, “WAIT… when did THAT happen?!” 😂

I think Jeronimo deserves a little more time in front of the camera. 👀

What do you guys think: event horse, jumper, hunter, or dressage horse? ⬇️

AND thats a WRAP on the 2027 breeding season here at Hidden Creek Ranch Sporthorses

This one is still VERY early pregnancy but its so late in the season we wouldn't retry this year anyway and I feel like celebrating.

Designer Pearls xx X Beowulf's Divine xx

Foal can ONLY be Palomino, Cremello, Perlino, OR Buckskin, and will have 50% chance of inheriting frame overo and/or splash white! Talk about colorful!

Her 2026 c**t is the same cross and absolutely KNOCKS our socks off! We are so thrilled with this cross! He is going on to be developed as a stallion prospect!

That makes 7 foals for us next year in 2027! Talk about lucky!

Reach out if color is your thing, I am sure this one won't last long!

✨ 2027 is shaping up to be VERY exciting at Hidden Creek Ranch. ✨

One of the crosses I am probably most excited about for next year!

Cassio’s Picasso KD × Jim’s Lillydale xx
Expected May 2027 🖤

Cassio’s Picasso KD brings proven upper-level eventing blood and performance to the equation. A 2019 USEA Stallion of the Year, Picasso competed successfully through CCI3-L*, bringing the athleticism, scope, movement, and versatility we love to see in a modern sport horse.

And then there’s Lilly. ❤️

Jim’s Lillydale xx is a lovely Thoroughbred mare with her own performance background, having competed through Training Level eventing and schooled Preliminary. She brings exactly the type of Thoroughbred influence we want in our program: athletic, useful, and proven under saddle.

An added bonus? This foal is guaranteed SW1. 🤍

Our hope with this cross is a modern, athletic sport horse with the blood, brain, movement, and jumping ability to excel in eventing while still being the kind of horse someone would be thrilled to have in the barn every day.

Technically available to an exceptional home.

Realistically… you’re probably going to have to convince me. 😂

This is absolutely one we’ll be counting down the days for.

Follow us at Hidden Creek Ranch as we wait to meet this very special 2027 baby. 🖤

🎨 GUARANTEED COLOR + SERIOUS SPORT PEDIGREE 🎨

If you're looking for a 2027 foal with pedigree, performance, amateur-friendly temperament AND guaranteed chrome, this might be the one. 👀

We are offering our April 2027 in-utero foal by Ninja Turtle out of A Secret in the Night — and we're pretty excited about this cross.

🐢 NINJA TURTLE
At just 6 years old, Ninja Turtle is already successfully competing Preliminary/Upper Level eventing and bringing home ribbons. His pedigree brings serious jumping power — his sire competed through 1.60m, and his damsire competed through 1.60m.

But what we especially love about Ninja Turtle is that he's not just talented. He's known for his versatility, rideability and wonderful temperament — exactly what we want when breeding horses for ambitious amateurs.

And did we mention...

🖤🤍 HE IS HOMOZYGOUS PINTO.

That means this baby is GUARANTEED PINTO. No crossing your fingers for spots. 😂

🌙 A SECRET IN THE NIGHT
Night and Day / Nimmerdor × Grannus mare

Seriously... talk about PEDIGREE.

Nightgirl had a jumper career herself many years ago, including time under Todd Minikus. Even more importantly to us, she's already shown us what she produces.

Her last two foals with us have been wonderful, amateur-friendly horses with fantastic brains, and their owners absolutely rave about them. ❤️

So we're stacking:

✨ 1.60m performance blood
✨ 1.60m performance blood AGAIN
✨ Nimmerdor
✨ Grannus
✨ Proven jumper mare
✨ Successful young eventing stallion
✨ AA-friendly temperament on BOTH sides
✨ And a 100% guaranteed pinto foal

This baby should have COLOR, JUMP and a BRAIN. 🔥

🔥 2027 IN UTERO OPPORTUNITY — Light My Fire × Jannellie (Colman) 🔥

If you’ve seen Jellybean’s last two foals, you KNOW this mare outproduces herself every single time. ❤️ Sadly, we lost Noodle far too soon, but there was absolutely no question that she was going to be a spectacular filly. Jellybean continues to prove just how valuable she is as a broodmare.

For 2027, we paired her with Light My Fire — a proven 1.45m competitor who is now out there winning 3'6" Canadian Derbies with an adult amateur. The kind of performance AND rideability we want to reproduce!

Jellybean herself was schooling Third and Fourth Level dressage, earning scores in the 70%+ range at schooling shows, and was coursing 3'6" before import.

✨ Light My Fire × Jannellie (Colman)
