These darn predators! Another gone, Acadia one of our older Easter Eggers—also our largest egg layer 😭
Something was hunting after locking up the younger flock and being outside for a couple hours while the flocks free ranged. I haven’t been letting these guys out until after work in hopes one of us will be outside to keep an eye on things. I went inside to make dinner and this happened—I guess someone else needed dinner too 🦅🦊
I found feathers from our big Roo, W***y as well but he seems fine from the ordeal. Thankful I made sure the youngins were locked up before heading in to make dinner 🍽️
Maybe I need to set up my office in the barn…🤦♀️
