Summer update number three: that one time I made hundreds of cookies for a banquet! 🍪

Summer catch-up, part two! 🎓

I loved getting to create this Texas A&M graduation themed set to celebrate such a big accomplishment. From the maroon Texas cookies and A&M designs to the diplomas and “Earned, Not Given” details, this order was all about honoring years of hard work.

Congratulations to the graduate, and thank you for letting From Scratch PTX be part of such a special milestone. Gig ’em! 👍

Whew, this summer has been busy in the very best way! From custom orders and special celebrations to lots of time spent baking, decorating, and learning, I have so many creations I haven’t had a chance to share yet.

Instead of one giant photo dump, I’m going to spend the next few days catching up and sharing some of my favorite orders from the summer. I’m so thankful for everyone who has trusted From Scratch PTX to be a small part of your birthdays, showers, celebrations, and special moments.

Here’s the first little look, with plenty more sweetness to come! 🤍

There is just something extra special about a homemade birthday cake made 100% from scratch.

This cake was made with fun swirls of soft pink, peach, yellow, and a touch of gold to make it feel even more special. Every swirl and flower was piped with care for a sweet birthday celebration.

I love getting to make cakes that become part of special days and sweet memories.

🎉 Now taking orders for birthday cakes and other special events. Send me a message if you would like me to create something special for your celebration.

I’m so honored to have been awarded GRAND CHAMPION in Floral Design at the Lamar County Junior Livestock Show last week!

This was such a fun and special experience and I’m so grateful to have been part of it. I love being creative, and it means a lot to have my work recognized in such a big way.

Who knows... floral arrangements may just be making an appearance in my future too. 💐💕

I’ve been a little quiet here on Facebook, but I’ve been busy behind the scenes in the kitchen and at the Lamar County Junior Livestock Show all week.

Here are a few photos of some of the cookies and cupcakes I’ve been working on lately. I also got to make several buyer gifts for the stock show, which was a fun way to mix my love of baking with the ag world.

If you have an event coming up, I’d love to help make it a little easier and a little sweeter. Don't forget about those Graduation parties, Mother's Day, etc!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀💚

I made these shamrock cookies for today, and I’m kind of obsessed with how they turned out 💚

Soft, buttery sugar cookies with hand-decorated icing… every one is a little different and made completely from scratch.

I love getting to create goodies for holidays and special moments like this.

If you ever need custom cookies for parties, events, or celebrations, I’d love to make something just for you!
