There is just something extra special about a homemade birthday cake made 100% from scratch.

This cake was made with fun swirls of soft pink, peach, yellow, and a touch of gold to make it feel even more special. Every swirl and flower was piped with care for a sweet birthday celebration.

I love getting to make cakes that become part of special days and sweet memories.

I’m so honored to have been awarded GRAND CHAMPION in Floral Design at the Lamar County Junior Livestock Show last week!

This was such a fun and special experience and I’m so grateful to have been part of it. I love being creative, and it means a lot to have my work recognized in such a big way.

Who knows... floral arrangements may just be making an appearance in my future too. 💐💕

I’ve been a little quiet here on Facebook, but I’ve been busy behind the scenes in the kitchen and at the Lamar County Junior Livestock Show all week.

Here are a few photos of some of the cookies and cupcakes I’ve been working on lately. I also got to make several buyer gifts for the stock show, which was a fun way to mix my love of baking with the ag world.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀💚

I made these shamrock cookies for today, and I’m kind of obsessed with how they turned out 💚

Soft, buttery sugar cookies with hand-decorated icing… every one is a little different and made completely from scratch.

I love getting to create goodies for holidays and special moments like this.

It’s been such a busy few weeks at From Scratch PTX, and I just wanted to say thank you. Balancing school and my baking business has added a whole new level of time management to my life, and I’m learning as I go. I’m really thankful to get to do something I love while also growing through this season.

Last week’s ice threw our bake schedule for a loop, but this week From Scratch PTX is back on track and bringing you some "Old School" cookie flavors. Classic, cozy, and dangerously snackable.

And hey, Super Bowl Sunday is coming. If you’re hosting, bringing a snack, or just planning to camp out on the couch, you might want to stock up on sweet goodies. We can help make your Super Bowl spread even tastier.

DM our page before Thursday at 5 PM with:

- Flavor(s) you’d like
- Quantity (by the dozen)
- Preferred pickup day and time (Fri or Sat)
- We’ll reply with a Venmo link
- Once payment is confirmed, we’ll send the pickup address
