I really messed up this time! 😩
I made a serious mistake while booking events for Saturday, October 17th: I scheduled TWO events on the same day! 🤦♀️
What makes this even more embarrassing is that I’ve only made this mistake once before—and, wouldn’t you know it, that was last year with Leadington Free Will Baptist Church. Apparently, I didn’t learn my lesson! 🙃
The two events are the Leadington Free Will Baptist Church Food & Vendor Event and the Big Door Coffeehouse Birthday Bash.
As much as I wish we could be in two places at once, unfortunately, we can’t.
After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to honor our commitment to Leadington Free Will Baptist Church. Last year, when I had to cancel on them, they showed us so much grace and understanding. I feel it’s only right to extend that same grace in return and make sure we’re there for them this year. ❤️
That decision means disappointing someone else, and that truly breaks my heart.
To everyone at Big Door Coffeehouse, I am sincerely sorry. I know how much time, effort, and planning go into creating a special event, and I hate that my mistake has affected your birthday celebration.
To all of our amazing LOADED customers who were planning to see us at the Birthday Bash, please still go! Show up, celebrate, and support Big Door Coffeehouse. They deserve a wonderful turnout and an incredible birthday celebration! 🎉
I take full responsibility for this mistake. I’m human, I make mistakes, and apparently, I need TWO calendars—and someone to double-check them! 🤦♀️😂
