Some weird things hatch sometimes. Going to do my best to help this baby! Itā€™s not always unicorn and rainbows and at some point you will have to deal with hard things and be willing to handle it with grace! ā¤ļø

Love a good high five from the inside! šŸ˜

Edit: Iā€™ve gotten so many mean comments and hate messages from this video!
I can reassure you no animal is ever harmed here - heck I donā€™t even cull my chickens.
This was a monitored interaction to teach her how to hold them and also a sweet video to show how much sheā€™s loves mamas silkies.
But if you feel the need to send me a message be prepared for me to tear your ass up! šŸ¤£

Trying to teach her how to pick up birds šŸ˜† I guess backwards works too!!

Why I love these damn silkiesā€¦

I deal with Major postpartum depression and anxiety. 4 years of becoming someone Iā€™ve never known. My brain and heart always in a constant battle. Scared of everything. Depression had me never leave my home or put any effort into my friendships. Scared to drive. Stressing my family out because I was so controlling and scared to do anything wrong.

It was bad.

But something inside me pushed me to go outside and really start putting effort into my silkies and create goals and start projects.

No medication gave the me peace these silkies did. Seeing my goals come to life and being able to share my hard work.
Iā€™m not cured but something about these damn silkies pulled me out of the depths of my misery and thatā€™s why I do this.
Itā€™s not just a hobby, itā€™s my meditation, medication, my peace.

I know some of yall can relate and Iā€™m always available if you are struggling. ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹
