🍷 THIS WEEK’S FORECAST: FIVE WINES WITH A CHANCE OF STRONG OPINIONS.

And since we’re in Pasco, we should clarify: the strong opinions can be about the w**e. We don’t have to solve the city budget before the second pour. 😂

Fall in the Tri-Cities means wearing a sweater in the morning and questioning every decision by 3 p.m. Fortunately, this lineup has range.

Here’s what’s moving into your glass:

🥂 Mas Fi Brut Cava — A bright start.
Apple, lemon, pear, and lively bubbles. Consider it the sunshine breaking through your calendar full of meetings that could’ve been emails.

⚡ Quinta de Chocapalha Arinto — A crisp front moving in.
Our crisp white brings a little snap to the lineup. If your palate had a snooze button, this would be the w**e reaching over to turn it off.

🌸 Itä Rosé 2025 — An extended pink advisory.
Rosé season continues until further notice. Please direct all complaints to someone who believes w**e needs a seasonal dress code.

🍷 Whitman Hill Merlot — Sweater weather has entered the chat.
Our Washington Merlot moves us into the reds. Pull up a chair. Tell us how your week’s going. We’ve already established this meeting could’ve been a tasting.

🧀 Don Rodolfo Art of the Andes Tannat — A little grip moving in late.
Cherry-hard-candy personality, a little funk, and a drying finish. Cheese is strongly suggested by our completely unofficial Department of Snacks.

FIVE BOTTLES. FIVE PERSONALITIES. ONE VERY SMALL GROUP THERAPY SESSION. 🍷

Starting on the right and working left—because apparently even our w**e lineup refuses to follow directions.

1. Bellafina Pink Moscato
Strawberry, peach, and playful bubbles. This is the Pink Pony Club of the lineup: somebody’s singing, somebody knows every word, and Damien is pretending this wasn’t his idea. Sweet, light, and entirely comfortable being the fun one. Bring fruit, pastries, or spicy snacks. Leave your w**e superiority complex at home.

2. Estate Argyros Atlantis White — 2019
This little Greek getaway brings gentle sweetness and a crispness that keeps the conversation moving. Think vacation mode without the airport, lost luggage, or discovering your passport expired. Serve it cold with seafood—or a pulled pork sandwich, because apparently this Greek has range. Your patio may face the neighbor’s fence, but we can work with that.

3. Bartholomew Malvasia Bianca — 2025
Apricot, white peach, pear, and honeysuckle show up for a garden party. A little earthy character keeps everybody grounded, and the dry finish reminds you this party does have a dress code. Juicy up front, composed on the way out. Basically, the friend who brings excellent snacks and somehow leaves before cleanup. Try it with roasted chicken, fish, or veggie pasta.

4. Garage “Socket” Syrah
Dark fruit, pepper, and savory spice. Finally, something from the garage that doesn’t require you to watch three YouTube videos and make another trip to the hardware store. This Syrah brings the attitude and would be very comfortable next to something off the grill. The socket you can actually find when you need it.

5. Paradisos del Sol Rojo Paradisos — 2014
Cranberry, cherry, a little tartness, and a dry finish that’s already asking what’s for dinner. A lighter red with plenty to say, delivered at a reasonable volume. While everybody else is flexing their Washington w**e muscles, this one brought a chair and some good stories. Pair it with blue cheese and let the cheese be the loud one.

Come taste some juice with your friendly neighborhood w**e nerds.

🍾 Wildly Brut Cuvee - patio sipper bubbles perfect with a salad or shrimp

🍏 Portal da Calçada Vinho Verde - green tart apple beauty, pairs well with light barbeque

🍯 Lobo Hills Chenin Blanc - lightly sweet, fantastic all by itself

🍝 Castello di Bossi Berardo Chianti Classico Riserva - quiet intensity, perfect with dishes that have been cooking all afternoon: tomato sauces, roasts, grilled meats

💪 Portteus Purple Haze - bold but not overwhelming, flavorful but easy to drink

🍾 Mas Fi Cava - refreshing and versatile, this joyful sparkler fits brunch, celebrations, weeknights, or snacks with equal ease

🌺 Esk Valley Sauvignon Blanc - this food friendly w**e has the typical Sauv Blanc grassiness along with tropical notes

Scotto Family Cellars Brut Rosé - tart fruit with a clean finish, great at a cocktail party or in the backyard

Paza dac Bruxas Rias Baixas Albariño - zesty with an undercurrent of caramel and butter, great with seafood or anything salty or fried

Elephant Seven W**ery Side E White Blend - drinks like a light red w**e, great with food

Marchesi di Gresy Barbera d'Asti - bright up front then traditions to darker flavors, goes with many foods but Emily especially loves it with eggplant lasagna

Paradisos del Sol Rojo Paradisos - a lighter version of an Eastern Washington red, perfect to pair with bleu cheese or just to sip!
