Fire in the sky! It’s been my experience that you’ve got less than a 5 minute window to catch this kind of setting before it’s gone. Watching the sun come up every morning does have its perks. October Vermont is tough to beat!!!

So if you’re in our local crowd, come out and see us tomorrow (Sunday 10-2) at the Dorset Farmer's Market! While of course we think that everything we make is special, there’s no denying that Rupert Reserve from Woodlawn Creamery, aged 12 months, is something really worth jumping in the car for. So come see our oldest and its younger siblings (not to mention our Wagyu beef) — all proudly made right here, with the kind of work and care that Vermont farmers bring to the table. 

But don’t take our word for it. 😊

SO much going on this weekend! Today, Heidi is at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market and Rupert is back in stock! I’ll be up in Weston at The Vermont Country Store sharing cheese during the Weston Village Fair from 12 to 3.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Stephen is at the market in Rutland for us today too!

And then tomorrow, I’ll be at the Dorset Farmer's Market doing cut to order cheese—Pawlet, Rupert, Southwind, and (not cut obviously) Emerson, 10 to 2! We are also restocked with beef, and will pack accordingly for Dorset. 😊

Poor man’s drone shot of the Woodlawn haying crew celebrating Labor Day in the south Mettawee Valley. To the locals this is nothing new—they see it four times a year. I thought it would be nice for the fans of our cheese from coast to coast to see how we harvest the hay our cows eat! The farm may be in Pawlet, but this is Rupert.
