Happy Friday y’all!

Just a reminder that in addition to a whole lot of cuteness waiting to be weaned (early November), we do have eggs from our organic fed hens and assorted beef products from our pasture-raised with non GMO alfalfa and minimal non GMO all stock. These products are available for pickup at the farm by appointment.

(Nubian kids will be UFD and available once weaned. All of our stock are fed forage and non GMO or organic whenever possible. They are loved greatly and cared for compassionately. Dams and Sire are polled and registered, on site. If you are interested in bringing some of these beautiful kids home to your farm, please PM.)

One thing about living on a working farm… you just never know who might show up, especially on a Monday!

As you walk out to the pasture, you are contemplating that second cup of coffee (dressed with butter from grassfed beef, heavy cream, and vanilla maple syrup)…
you notice the gorgeous blue sky peppered with fluffy clouds, hear the birds singing, swat away a gnat or ten, and then you see it… rather, them.

Welcome to the world little ones!!

And that was just Monday!🤣🫣❤️🐽

Our very first kid watch, and all paws are on deck (but it is obviously tiring work!) for the new arrivals to the world! 🐾

The first time we saw a cattle egret on our farm, we were so excited. That bird brought a sense of legitimacy. It confirmed that we were doing something right.
Now, out mowing, there are many. They float around seeking and scouting then skim the ground to land in just the right place. In doing so, they remind me that we are stewards as it has been since the creation of mankind. We are here to care for the land and the creatures so that they can care for us when the time comes. The care and love that we put into everything here on this imperfect farm truly does show in what this place produces.
Cannot wait to see what is next… I am pretty sure it will be hooved with long ears and lots of attitude. 💕🐐
