Reagan ran Fast CAT for the first time last weekend! She is a little beast and and a blast! Her first run she received no time but the second she ran in at just under 23 MPH. Chris said she would be a perfect fit for our active family and she was absolutely correct.

We had two very special deliveries the last two days!! Arson delivered 9, yes, NINE beautiful healthy babies yesterday afternoon. 😍 Lakyn early this morning delivered 6 stunning little Labradors. 😍 To say we are in love is an understatement! Summer is going to fly by raising these babies, so excited to watch them grow 🐾

Just picked up at the locker! Hanging weight of 455 pounds was smaller than our average, which is typically 480-520 for steers from our herd. This steer was 26 months, grass fed and finished. Now for the best part, the taste test! Looking forward to a bowl of hamburger tomorrow morning. Thank you Sully Locker for always providing excellent cuts and ensuring that our dogs get to eat well too!

Timberview Rona

Rona holds a special place in our hearts. She was the very first Dexter calf born on our farm, making her an important part of our story from the very beginning. Sired by Timberview Kade and out of the proven cow RD Nanny Fritz, Rona became one of the founding females of our herd.

Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated the qualities we value most in our breeding program—sound structure, maternal strength, lasting productivity and easy-fleshing on forage alone. She has rewarded us with outstanding offspring, producing both quality heifers and bulls that continue to move our program forward.

We have retained both her 2025 and 2026 heifer calves, a testament to the confidence we have in her genetics and influence. We are excited to watch these young females mature and carry on the legacy of a cow that has so much to contribute to the Dexter breed.

Ahoy! We’ve got pirates in the pasture! 🏴‍☠️
Sweet Echo and Memo both developed pinkeye this weekend and are currently rocking eye patches while they heal. Despite their temporary pirate look, these girls haven’t missed a beat and are taking it all in stride like the little queens they are. 👑❤️
