Hello 👋 We thought we would take a moment to introduce ourselves! We are Aaron and Megan Gernetzke, owners of SmokeHuis BBQ. Aaron is the man behind the smoker, growing up just outside of Kansas City, he has a love for all things BBQ. No surprise he would want to bring some of that here to Iowa! Megan grew up in Pella, (hence the Dutch touch to the name). Megan makes sure all the sides we provide are tasty and delicious! A year ago we decided to take our love of cooking and smoking meat and pursue the dream of owning our own small BBQ business. Over the last year we have done small events and one larger reception, helping push our dream into a reality!
