Come here you little beauty...the tasty original Chicago Dog. Why is there neon-green relish on a Chicago dog? Because that's how it is! It's not a real Chicago Dog without that neon-green relish. Don't worry, the "neon" color is simply food dye added at the factory - tastes just like normal relish. Come on out today and try one of the original...you'll be glad you did!

Today on this Patriot Day where we remember the sacrifice of our fallen heroes taken from us by evil terrorists on 9/11, we at Sizzlin Dogs of America will take a knee and pray for the families of the fallen and for our great nation during a moment of silence at 8:46 am.

Just a reminder that we're always closed on Sundays and Mondays to get some R&R as we're still a small business. Our hope is that in the near future we'll be able to open 7 days/week.

While you wait for us to re-open, why not read up on the history of the great American creation that is the original Coney Island dog! We serve ours the way Charles Feltman intended - with sauerkraut and mustard.

Don't know who Charles Feltman is? Why he's the inventor of the frankfurter, silly! That's right, back in 1867 he started his business selling dogs on a bun to beachgoers. He used to have a store that spanned an entire block right on Coney Island's famous boardwalk!

Did you know Nathan Handwerker, founder of Nathan's Famous dogs, used to work for Charles Feltman as a bun slicer? While Nathan and Charles had a falling out when Nathan started a competing hot dog company - we've decided to bring them back together by using Charles Feltman's original recipe on Nathan's Famous dog! Hot Dogs bring people together!
