For those that missed it, we are completely out of muscadines for the year. Our variety only lasts on the vine about three or four weeks once they become ripe, so our picking season isn't that long. Stay tuned until August of next year when we will hopefully have another round of grapes. ❤️❤️

We officially got the harvest in at Deaux Run Vineyards and Venue!

⭐⭐Please note: Because the harvest is completely wrapped up, we do not need any more pickers tomorrow, and we are officially done with U-Pick for the season.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help and support us this season. We are so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing community behind us as we work toward building our future winery. We couldn't have done it without you!

P.S. we don't have wine for sale yet. We are just practicing for when we get our license🍷🚜❤️

Yesterday was beautiful, and we are so grateful for the amazing crew that showed up.

No Sign-Up Needed: Just show up ready to pick!

Perks for the Grown-Ups: Volunteers receive a Deaux Run T-shirt, a water bottle, lunch, and a bottle of wine (for those 21+ only, of course!). 🫢

Family Reminders: Well-behaved children are welcome to help out! Please keep in mind that we will be incredibly busy harvesting and cannot supervise little ones. This is a natural farm environment with a pond, bees, and ants, so please keep a close eye on your kiddos.

Pups Stay Home: We love animals, but please leave your dogs at home for this event. 🐾

Beat the Heat: It is going to be hot out there. We will provide plenty of water, but please remember to bring a hat and wear your sunscreen!

Lunch is on Us: We will pause the picking at around 12:30 PM to fuel up with a delicious lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, and green beans.

Thank you all so much for helping us clear the vines and fill the tanks. We couldn't do this without our wonderful community! See you all at the vineyard! ☀️🍷

Coming up this Saturday! We’d love to have your help and share a few tokens of our appreciation in return.

Please keep in mind that there will be no U-Pick this Saturday. If we have leftover muscadines after finishing our own harvest, we’ll schedule another Saturday morning for U-Pick (afternoons are simply too hot!).
