Trying to get a good picture of a black foal is so difficult! The lighting has to be just right. I got this one and his tongue was stuck out 😛 He stays under my feet, so that makes it extra difficult. He is sun bleached as of late, but I definitely think he is going to be black with no cross. He’s standing a little downhill, so he looks butt high, but he’s actually got super nice conformation!

Creed is the sweetest, most patient foal I’ve ever seen. He loves attention, but he waits patiently for it. He is so sweet and snuggly. He is doing great at halter training and picking up his hooves. He’s so smart and willing. He will be available when weaned in October. We will require him to have another donkey friend, preferably one of a similar age.

Can you say spoiled?! Baby Cora (she’s a yearling, but I will forever call her “baby Cora”) gets run off the troughs when we give a little grain so she gets to eat hers straight from the bucket 😆 She knows this routine and will wait until she knows it’s her turn.
