šŸŒŸ Our 2026 foaling season is officially over šŸŒŸ

Stoney Valley Tulip welcomed a gorgeous red jennet at 10:05pm last night. She had a hard pregnancy the last 2 months, but she was a trooper and she gave me just what I wished for!

Welcome to the world, Cypress Farm Eloise (aka Weezy)

I snapped some quick pics of our 3 oldest foals today-

Cypress Farm Ember Dawn
Kindatiny Spartanā€™s Creed
Pennyhillā€™s The Final Chapter aka Ace (if there are pine shavings ANYWHERE, he will find them and roll in them šŸ¤£)

Iā€™m not sure if you can tell, but the babies love it when I put out fresh shavings šŸ¤£ They immediately roll in them.

When I was pregnant, I did the old wives tale of a needle on a string to predict the gender of the baby. It was correct for me both times. I thought it would be fun to do it on our girl, Tully. The prediction was a GIRL šŸ©· I think I was in shock šŸ˜† We will see if it was accurate here in a few weeks!

I also did it on Showy, who is only about 4 months along, but it also predicted a girl for her, too!

What do you think Tully will have, a boy or a girl?

TLA Dark Sock Special is one of our 3 herd sires. He is 18 years young this year. Heā€™s a pretty easy going guy. His only requirements are daily head hugs, his mask on sunny days to protect his eyes and a girlfriend every once in a while šŸ¤

We are 1 foal away from wrapping up the 2026 foaling season. Dam is the gorgeous Stoney Valley Tulip (aka Tully, because we already had a Tulip) and sire is Cypress Farm Jack of Diamonds. Tully has had a bumpy road the last little bit. We believe she was in the beginning stages of placentitis in July. We caught it early and started medicine right away. She will stay on meds until a couple of weeks before her due date. We hope she holds on to the little one for as long as possible!
