Fun Facts:

Strawberries are unique in the plant world because, unlike most fruits, their seeds are visible on the outside rather than hidden inside the fruit, making them an aggregate fruit rather than a true berry.

They belong to the rose family, which explains their delicate aroma and floral lineage.

Beyond their seeds, strawberries have a rich history: ancient Romans used them for medicinal purposes, believing they could treat ailments like depression and fever.

There are over 600 varieties of strawberries worldwide, including unusual types like pine-berries, which have white flesh and taste like a mix of pineapple and strawberry.

**We also offer a selection of fresh, garden-grown vegetables such as green beans, sugar snap peas, cabbages, zucchini, and other seasonal produce, depending on what's growing and ready to pick that day.
