The first tomatoes of the season are here and they taste so amazing!

So far, no tomatoes have successfully made it into the house but hopefully in a few weeks there will be enough to last longer than a walk in the garden.

summer flowers are blooming to meet the end of the spring flowers and one of my favorite flowers is just starting to bloom: marigolds!

these aren't your average garden marigolds, each of the plants will get to be as tall as me and make the most colorful, bright, long-lasting flowers that I love in summer bouquets!

this first variety is the "coco gold" orange blooms and in a week or so should be my favorite variety, "white swan"

Seed saving season has begun!

This spring i decided to let a lot of vegetables and flowers go to seed and today i got to harvest some of the first ones.

Last year i used these repurposed glass bottles for fully dried seeds with labels that i could write on and really like the look of them and that i could actually see the seeds in the bottles

seeds harvested today:

✨russian statice
✨radish
