Thank you for visiting Guthrie's Kitchen! My husband and I have been giving our homemade salsa as gifts for a few years.

Everybody seems to really love it and suggested that we sell it - so here we are! We have an amazing garden and try to grow as much as we can to use in our products. We had so much zucchini this year that I had to start making zucchini bread too. I worked very hard on modifying this recipe so it is incredibly moist and delicious. Hi all! I'll be at the Falcon Farm & Critter swap tomorrow, Saturday, September 6th, at the Falcon Big R with Guthrie's Kitchen salsa! This week, we have a new flavor to try - Mango/Peach salsa! It's a small batch, so don't wait too long! We will also have our Chicago style Giardiniera that makes an amazing condiment as well as some new fresh baked peanut butter, chocolate chip zucchini cookies! We'll have free samples as always- come taste the deliciousness!

Hi all! We're going to be at the Falcon Big R Swap tomorrow with our Guthrie's Kitchen salsa! For those that wanted our hot salsa, we have that available this week also! The garden finally produced some good zucchini, so we'll also have fresh chocolate chip, walnut and plain zucchini muffins. Stop by for some free samples. Hope to see you there!

Zucchini is almost ready for making bread and muffins! The shade cloth is working well for the pepper plants on the greenhouse. We also have shade cloth ready to cover the tomato plants when a storm moves in to protect against hail. Hoping for plentiful veggies this year!

We've got a great start on the garden with 20 tomato plants, 37 different varieties of pepper plants, zucchini and cucumbers. We put a new shade cloth on the greenhouse for better ventilation and made screen sleeves for the smaller tomato plants to protect against driving rain, wind and hail. We can't wait to get started making more salsa, hot sauce, and zucchini bread. Stand by for deliciousness!

We had a great day selling our Salsa, Chicago Style Giardiniera, Zucchini Bread & Banana Bread yesterday at the Harvest at the Homestead Autumn Market. It was definitely a successful event. We want to thank everybody that supported us yesterday! It is now time to harvest all of our garden before the cold hits, so there will be a big push to do a very large amount of salsa.
