New addition to the farm and it’s not an animal this time😂😂 we installed a head catch which will allow us to nurse, tag and fill some gaps for some of the problems we may have in the future! Today we used it to tag 2 of 3 cows we’ve yet to tag and it worked like a charm!

Our 2 newest additions, Winnie (mama) and Rue (heifer calf). We united them with the rest of our herd and they instantly went swimming. We’re estimating the calf is around 3-6 weeks old and just look at her swimming!

Today versus their beginning. Cupid is no longer on our farm but Maple and Waffles will be here for the long haul. It took a few days for them to all be able to fully stand and walk normally.

Maple was the biggest in the beginning but slowly went downhill as she got a little bit of joint illness which we got treated and she has pushed getting through. She lost some mobility for a little while but now all her legs work as they should. She’s the calmest of the 3.

Waffles is still the annoying sister that likes to eat everything, run out when you open the gate and just do whatever she wants when she wants to.
