Dennis, our Passyunk shop manager, is leaving us for his next great adventure. Today is his last day.

Dennis has been with us for four years—almost the entire time the shop has been open. If you’ve stopped in once or a thousand times, you know Dennis. He’s welcomed you in, he’s walked you through our menu, he’s helped you find your new favorite flavor. Maybe he’s recognized the band on your T-shirt and chatted with you about music or movies. Maybe he’s commiserated with you over whether or not Brown Butter Brown Sugar Brownie will ever make a comeback.

Dennis started with us right after we opened Passyunk as our very first Key Leader, and over the last four years he worked his way up to leading the shop. His team absolutely loves him, and that says a lot about the kind of manager he’s been.

Dennis, we are seriously going to miss you!! Thank you for four years of taking care of our customers, your team, and Milk Jawn. We can’t wait to see what you do next! ❤️

🍦FRIDAY FLAVOR DROP🍦

HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE CRISP

This is a hazelnut ice cream made with premium hazelnut paste and loaded with chocolate-coated wafer crisps made from thin, buttery bits of French pastry. 🤌

Earlier this year, we ended up with three buckets of wildly expensive hazelnut paste that needed a purpose, and so we put it to good use. The result is a flavor that tastes like a ridiculously decadent Italian gelato mixed with a top shelf-version of Ferrero Rocher candy. This flavor is so fiscally irresponsible that we can never make it again! Seriously. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Come get a taste while it lasts.

Our Chocolate Tacos and Brown Butter Toffee ice cream sandwiches are making a special summer appearance Reading Terminal Market Ice Cream Festival tomorrow! 🍦🌮🍦🍪

Come find us at 12th and Filbert Streets from 12-4pm. We’ll be there alongside a bunch of other Philly ice cream makers. There’ll be lots of ice cream to try, plus ice cream eating contests, games, demos, and lots of other family-friendly fun!

Note: Our ice cream tacos and sandos will be available only at the festival and NOT at our shops.
