Snowy Weekend = Trying new recipes! My FIL said he was craving lemon pie, no specifics so I made a lemon custard pie in a graham cracker crust with candied lemons for garnish.

The other is Biscoff Cheesecake Bars. My daughter is not a peanut butter fan so cookie butter is a great alternative!

Today is International Italian Cuisine Day!
What are your favorite dishes?

This Pic are my two all time favorite Italian dishes. Tiramisu and Penna Ala Vodka. My Aunt makes THE BEST Tiramisu (Pic below), hands down, no question, no debate, I have references..

I have been perfecting my Vodka sauce for years but as many of the very best chefs in the world will tell you, a recipe has no soul, it's what you bring to it, so I'd say everytime I make this it's never exactly the same but get very few complaints 😂

Throwback Thursday 💕 This photo was taken after Jillian and I catered an event for a dear family friend for 100 people—our first in many years. It was a full-circle moment for me, remembering catering alongside my father at her age, and now watching her do the same with me. She was a natural. From that day, West Catering was born, and I was reminded how much I love creating memorable meals for life’s special moments.

Transformation Tues: Food Edition

I love when the client let's me create a menu that fits their theme and event. The theme was all things Peach and Lavender for their Annual Tea. We created individual peach upside cakes with whipped cream and lavender essence and Watermelon fruit rounds with peaches and lavender honey drizzle.

I love a slow cooked Yankee Pot roast. I added baby yellow potatoes, carrots and celery. We ate over mashed potatoes with a homemade rich beef gravy from the cooking juices.
