PHILLY CHEESESTEAK — BUT I HAD TO MESS WITH IT. 🥩🧀

I took a Philly cheesesteak and decided the traditional version wasn't doing enough for me today. 😂

Cubanelle peppers, banana peppers, pickled cherry peppers, onions, American cheese, cheddar cheese and cheese sauce because apparently I don't understand the concept of moderation.

Sautéed the vegetables in Simply Garlic, LLC garlic oil, hit them with Moo-Jitsu O-Moo-Plata Green, and seasoned the steak with Moo-Jitsu Ki-Moo-Ra Black.

Then I put all that between some bread and called it a cheesesteak.

Philadelphia… please don't come after me.
I come in peace. 😂

But honestly?
I think I just took Philly to a new place.

Vegetable, Bean & Cheese Enchiladas 🌶️🧀
A meatless dinner that definitely doesn't skimp on flavor.

Loaded with vegetables and beans, along with pepper jack and sharp cheddar, then rolled up and covered in Hatch red enchilada sauce.
Finished with Spicy Rancheros Sauce and plenty of melted cheese.

Spicy, cheesy, saucy, and seriously comforting.
Vegetables were involved, so technically we're being responsible. 😂

August Food Recap 🍽️
August was a busy one in the kitchen!
We made everything from porcini mushroom risotto with filet and BBQ lasagna, to white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies, porcini mushroom arancini, apple c***r glazed pork belly, and some completely ridiculous Loaded Taco Bombs.

Add in the burger series, grilling, smoking, restaurant creations, and a whole lot of experimenting… and I'd say we kept the kitchen busy. 😂

Some dishes were planned.
Some were “let's see what happens.”
And some were definitely “this is probably a terrible idea… let's do it anyway.”

Here's to another month of cooking, creating, and making questionable decisions with food. 🔥

Loaded Taco Bombs 🌮💣

I may have taken the phrase “loaded taco” a little too seriously.

Chorizo + smoked chicken + cream cheese + pepper jack + mozzarella + nacho cheese, rolled into balls and coated in Doritos Late Night Loaded Taco.

Crispy, cheesy, smoky, spicy, and completely unnecessary.

Which is exactly why they needed to exist. 😂
Finished with jalapeños, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and plenty of cheese.

Tacos? Cheese balls? Doritos? Honestly, I don't know what they are anymore.

The Cuban Smash

Burger 11 in my Burger For Every State series! 🇺🇸🍔

Florida was always going to be a Cuban-inspired burger.
Beef + chorizo + ham + Swiss + pickles + mojo mayo.
Then we pressed the whole thing on the griddle. 🔥
