Hard to believe I’m going to see babies from this girl. The day I rescued her I never thought this would be possible. She was by far the worst one I’ve ever taken on. Our babies will start hitting the ground in January. Our bucks went into rut in July this year. So I started breeding in August. I just stand and stare at her now bc I’m so proud of her for continuing to fight. I gave up on her twice. Not bc I didn’t want to see her come out the other side, but I felt I was being selfish. I felt I was just delaying the imminent. She went down the second time and I asked my husband to end it for her. I couldn’t do it. Not after spending months after months working with her. He refused to do it. He said he seen a glimpse in her eyes that told him she was going to win the battle. I’m so thankful he wouldn’t do it. She’s such a sweet heart. She just loves to be pet. And treats. Boy will she eat treats. She’s def a favorite around here
