Uncommon Spirits At Uncommon Spirits, we’re not just making whiskey — we’re setting a new standard for what spirits should be. We believe in doing things differently.

Born in Phoenix and built on bold vision, we’re a company rooted in craftsmanship, character, and community. From the barrels we select to the people we serve, every decision is made with one purpose: to deliver exceptional, great-tasting, and award-winning spirits without compromise. We don’t follow the rules — we rewrite them. Our journey began with a single idea: create whiskey that reflects the soul of its makers and the spirit of those who drink it. That journey led to The American — our first release, a bold, sweet, and smooth American whiskey aged up to 7 years. Guided by our motto, Verum Intus — The Truth is Inside — we pour intention into every bottle. It’s more than a phrase. It’s our commitment to integrity, to fearless creativity, and to never cutting corners. We’re building something bigger than a brand — we’re building a movement for spirits that stand for something. And the world is starting to take notice. In 2025, The American earned a Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, hosted by The Tasting Alliance — the most prestigious and respected blind spirits competition in the world. For our first release to be recognized on this global stage is not only humbling, it’s proof that doing things differently can lead to extraordinary results. You can find The American in select retailers, bars, and restaurants throughout Phoenix — or order online at www.theamericanwhiskey.com. Welcome to the uncommon.
