Hi friends, you can be assured that when I do not post any new videos daily that something major is keeping me from doing so. About a month I was notified by the manufacturer of our Beanbags they were going out of business. This is the fifth time this has happened in the 20 years we have been selling beanbags. This time however, they are not transferring the business to a new owner. They’re just simply shutting it down. So I had $2000 worth of material drop shipped from California to. Texas even though the price per yard had increased from $8 dollars to $12. A rather significant increase. I was not expecting this, but I wanted to do it because we have been the only source of beanbags made specifically for horses use. A couple of weeks previous I had ordered a large batch of guiders from our Amish manufacturer. By the time the ballistic nylon material is sewn into covers and shipped back to me plus the cost of the guiders I am out over $5K in training supplies (for you!) A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a Stage 1-2 cancer and will start treatment a week from tomorrow. It would really help to recover some of the recent expenses. The treatment center is 105 miles away from here in Show Low, Arizona and I will have to stay there through the week and hopefully be able to come home on the weekends. If you appreciate what we do for you and are inclined to help in this situation I will discount the beanbags $50 each and $25 for a set of guiders. The initial treatment ordeal is going to last about two months. Most of last week repairing fences in one of the horse pens was a priority. A corner H-brace posts had rotted off and had to be replaced and new wire spliced in and stretched. Big job for one old guy working solo. Yesterday one last metal door frame for the barn was fabricated. After two years working on that project, I was so sick of welding I couldn’t even look at the machine. So I left the upper half of a Dutch door in the mare & foal stall unfinished. Last winter was extremely mild, hardly any snow at all and we got through it. This year is expected to be much different with the big El Niño affecting the weather. So it has to be finished this week.
