This is a 7 month old clover stand we just trimmed down to 8”. It was planted in September of 2020 in a mix of 5 different clover varieties. It is producing a very high amount of high quality forage. Mixing clover varieties and using the right variety for your location and soil type are imperative for building a healthy clover stand. Deer, Turkey and other game animals are able to use these types of clover stands year round with high digestibility and protein levels. Combining clover stands with other high producing legume crops is vital in creating a diverse palatable habitat for game. Doing so keeps the game animals you see healthy and makes your property attractive to them.

If you’re a property owner or hunter and have a club or a piece of property and you are interested in improving your habitat give us a call. We do not use the throw and let it grow approach. There is no “one bag fits all” seed mix for game animals. Building a better fitting, more attractive piece of property takes more than just tossing out some seed and hoping it will grow. That is just a waste of time and money. Let us help you. 205-847-8741 or 205-594-6650
