The dentist paid a visit today and worked on some of the horses of Wildland Farms and Shady Mountain Farms. Big thanks to our Equine Dentist Whitney Vickers for coming out and taking care of them and even working in the rain. If you need an Equine Dentist we highly recommend her. She is dedicated and does an amazing job.

Spring calving has begun here at Wildland Farms. We’re a little late in the season but so excited to see what we have this year. One of our Texas Longhorn heifers has calved for the first time, one of our Texas Longhorn/ angus cross heifers has calved for the first time and our dear old Forty-Nine, black angus, has calved for her 12th year. Just look at these beautiful calves!

*Update: This beautiful, sweet Border Bull has been adopted!

10 month old female Border Bull, Border Collie/Pit Bull cross, looking for forever home. Mother a working red border collie female and father is a blue pit. Border Bull’s make excellent working farm dogs and loving companions. We had planned on keeping her for another addition to our working dog program but unfortunately she kills chickens. We want to be 100% up front about that fact. We have free range chickens and are unable to keep her. Otherwise she is a wonderful dog with lots of potential for working cattle or being a lazy house pet. Please contact us for more information.

*Update- Only 2 puppies remaining!! 1 smooth coated male and 1 coarse coated male and he is shaping up to look like his sire, Beau. 7 have went off to their new farms and homes. Don’t miss out on having a Wildland Farm Border Collie out of our two astounding, working family members. You couldn’t ask for two better than these and they’re offspring are going to be just as amazing! See the pictures attached to see which 2 are still awaiting their farm.

Darlin’ and Beau, our Border Collies, would like to present to you their first litter together. As many of you know from our private pages Darlin’ and Beau are not only beloved family members but working dogs used for herding our Texas Longhorn Cattle. They have produced beautiful puppies that will be 10 weeks old next Tuesday, 4-27-21. All puppies have been vaccinated with Spectra 9.
