We were so honored to have been a part of this year's Farm to Fork dinner. The food was incredible, the company, the location...it was truly a memorable event. Thank you Minnesota Department of Education for this recognition and Pine River-Backus Schools for the opportunity.

Local beef was on the menu at Pine River-Backus Schools this past school year. The district partnered with the Headwaters Beef Cooperative and Local Farmers Cooperative to bring beef patties to their district from cows raised on a local farm. Additionally, they labeled the local beef on their menus and educated students on the benefits of "pasture to plate" sourcing.
