I know it's hard to see but we are 48 hours after stopping Meds which is a crucial time and she has no temp! Awesome!

Ginger is going on 24 hours without a high temp!

Ginger update: she's doing okay get surgery site has healed very well however we have been battling a fever ever since and Meds have not helped. She just started a new med and we will know tomorrow if its truly helped or not. After doing a blood test the vet has concluded it's either pneumonia or an abdominal infection. If its pneumonia the drugs she is on should help. However if its abdominal infection she would need another type of surgery. We would not put her through another surgery so please keep sending her well wishes. Thank you.

For those who don't know ginger had to go to Peterson and smith in Ocala due to what we found out from surgery was a strangulating lipoma. This is a fatty tissue that gets wrapped around the intestines. It was removed and she is doing normal for the procedure she had but we have to continue to wait and watch. Thank you everyone for caring so much. Hopefully shell be back at the barn soon!

Meet Missy J! She's a rescue horse that just came in today. People are more then welcome to donate hay, grain, or if anyone with horse experience wants to come and donate time, that would be great! We're hoping to get her to e more trusting and help find her forever home!
