We will be in the back lot of the cranberry library for CSA pickups tonight 3-7pm see you there bring a cooler**

This Friday, we will be at the Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania Municipal Center for the limited "Harvest Market" from 3 PM to 6 PM. Vendors will be set up in the back parking area.

Various vendors will join us over the next few weeks. Scheduled to participate this week:
Pittsburgh Pastures (eggs, poultry)
Shady Maple Produce (produce, baked goods)
Sheets Apiary (honey)

And we will have a truck full of beef, catnip, and flowers.

What an honor to be on KDKA this morning talking about Pittsburgh Pastures and our local farmers markets.

As a first-generation farm, we couldn’t do this without the incredible support from the Pittsburgh community. We’re proud to raise our animals on pasture with a non-GMO diet and provide local food we’re proud to stand behind.

Most of all, I’m proud to be a Yinzer. Thank you for believing in our farm and supporting local agriculture.

One question we get all the time is, “Are your hens happy?”

We’d like to think the answer is a pretty clear yes.

Our girls spend their days roaming fresh pasture, scratching for bugs, enjoying fresh greens, and eating a high-quality non-GMO feed. The result? Beautiful birds and eggs with those rich, deep orange yolks our customers love.

Healthy hens, vibrant yolks, and fresh eggs raised right here in Butler County. We’re grateful to care for these birds and to share the difference with our community.

We’re set up at the Cranberry Farmers Market today from 3–7 PM, and tonight marks our first CSA pickup of the season in Cranberry! We’re grateful to kick off another season with our members and customers and can’t wait to see everyone.

A whole lot of personality into some very tiny feet. 🐥🦆

These little ducklings may be small now, but they’ll soon be out on pasture enjoying fresh grass, sunshine, and plenty of room to explore here at Pittsburgh Pastures.

Raising food the right way starts from day one, and we’re grateful to share the journey with all of you.

Who else could watch baby ducks run around all day?

With the number of hens we care for, we spend a lot of time packing eggs—and we truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Every carton we fill is headed to our CSA member pickups and the customers who choose to support our first-generation family farm at farmers markets. We never take that support for granted, and we’re incredibly grateful that so many families trust us to provide fresh, local eggs.
