When People Say, “We’ve Never Heard of You before!” 👀

So… this is something we hear more than you think. 😂

We post on Facebook. We post on Instagram. We post on TikTok. We try to stay active, show our food, share where we’ll be, and let people know where to find us.

But then we’ll meet someone who says, “We’ve never heard of you before!”

And honestly… it can be frustrating. Especially when you’re a mobile food trailer and you don’t have a brick and mortar location where people can see you every day.

So in today’s video we are talking about it and we want to hear from other food truck and food trailer owners.

What do yall do to get your name out there and reach people who have never heard of your business?

Because clearly, we haven’t figured it all out yet! 😂

We’re starting a new series where we’ll be sharing more of the real side of running our food trailer , the wins, the struggles, the questions, and everything in between.

This video is a little look at what goes on behind the scenes just to keep our trailer stocked and ready to serve you.

We spend 4 hours driving all over the city, going store to store, picking up the food, supplies, and everything else we need. And honestly, this is what running a small business looks like for us.

We can’t always shop at the most expensive places or buy everything from small businesses, even though we’d love to support them. Sometimes the prices simply don’t fit our budget. We have to shop around, compare prices, and do whatever we can to save money.

We didn’t start this business with $20,000+ sitting in the bank. We started with a few thousand dollars and a dream. Our little trailer didn’t cost us a fortune and we’ve built everything from the ground up.

Some businesses can afford to spend top dollar because they have the money behind them. We don’t. Every dollar matters to us. Every case of food, every box of supplies, every tank of gas, and every trip we make comes out of what we work so hard to earn.

We’re not ashamed of starting small. We’re proud of it.

We’re doing the best we can with what we have, learning as we go, working our butts off, and continuing to grow one event, one customer, and one day at a time. 🧡

This is the real side of owning a small food business. It isn’t always glamorous, but it’s ours. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🧡🔥

🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND! ❤️🚒

We had an absolutely AMAZING 3 days at the Boston Spectrum celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Elizabeth Township Fire department! 🎉

The 140 Fire Department did an incredible job putting this celebration together and we are truly honored that they chose to have J&M Zouthern Infusionz be a part of such a special milestone. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Elizabeth Township Fire Department Events and Fundraising and to every firefighter, all first responders and everyone who helped make this event so special. You all dedicate so much of your lives to protecting and serving our communities and we are beyond grateful for everything you do. 🚒❤️

And to EVERY SINGLE FAMILY who came out, stopped at our trailer, grabbed some food, said hello, shared a post, brought a friend, or simply supported us - THANK YOU! 🧡

We saw so many familiar faces, and we had the pleasure of meeting so many new ones too. Every smile, conversation, order, and kind word means more to us than you know. You are the reason we get to keep doing what we love. 🥹🧡

We are a small family owned business, and being welcomed into events like this and having our community show up for us is something we will never take for granted.

We are leaving this weekend with full hearts, tired feet and SO much gratitude. 🧡🔥

The Cook farm 250th celebration was amazing!🌞❤️

We want to take a moment to thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Cook Farm 250th Celebration.

The morning started off with some rain, then by lunchtime, the rain stopped and the sun came out. We were even blessed with a beautiful rainbow! 🌈☀️

For this being the Cook family’s first event, they absolutely KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Everything was so well planned, organized and beautifully put together. You could truly see how much time, love, and effort went into making this celebration special. ❤️

It was like we were in the 1700’s with everyone dressed. We didn’t get to walk around and check everything out, but we got to hear the drummers and the national anthem. We also got or hear the muskets and cannons. Those cannons were so loud. It scared us the first time lol.

So many people showed up! 🙌🏽 We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our trailer, grabbed some food, talked with us, and supported our small family business. Because of YOU, we SOLD OUT! 🔥🍔

A very special THANK YOU to the The Cook Farm Cook family for inviting us to be part of such an incredible milestone and celebration. We are honored that you chose us to be there! ❤️
