MEET YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND

Join us Sunday, September 13th from 1-4pm as we host our Charity of the Month partners, A Friend In Need Small Dog Rescue in our Larimer Brewpub patio!

They’ll have two to four adorable pups with them who are looking for their forever home 🐶🐶.

You’ll be able to meet the pups, their fosters, and speak with the fine folks at AFN about adoption. They’ll have some forms on hand as well if you want to submit an application as part of the screening process, but this event will not feature same day adoptions.

Here’s a bit of info about AFN:

“A Friend in Need Rescue is dedicated to saving small-breed dogs on urgent lists at high-intake shelters. We provide them with foster homes and veterinary care before finding them loving forever homes. Our commitment doesn’t end when an adoption is finalized. We do our very best to continue supporting our adopters throughout their dogs’ lives.”

We’ll be open as normal, so our regular menu of beer + pizza will be available for your lunch or early dinner, with plenty of vegetarian, dairy free, and vegan options to boot.

Please note: We have a rain date of 9/27/26 as this event must take place outside.

CHARITY OF THE MONTH: A FRIEND IN NEED SMALL DOG RESCUE

Thanks to all for your generous round up donations in August. With your help, we raised $662.52 to benefit Bike MS, a part of the National MS Society.

For the month of September, we will be collecting funds through our Round Up Program for A Friend In Need Small Dog Rescue, and have an adoption event planned! Stay tuned later today for details on that.

We hope everyone enjoyed the Irish Jam we had last Saturday at the Taproom. If you missed out or you’re looking for some more live music, join us today, Sunday, August 30th in Mount Lebanon for a Scottish Jam to wrap up the month!

BRITSBURGH 2026 AT EEBC

One of the three markers of the end of summer for us is Britsburgh! This year will be the 12th Annual Britsburgh Festival, and we’re participating once again with our Britsburgh Ale! This year, we’ve dipped back into one of our old recipes, one we last made ten years ago.

We’ll be kicking off our part of the week with a Cask Tapping in Larimer on Tuesday the 8th, in honor of Tony Knipling, who encouraged us to start making the Britsburgh Ale and was a big part of the Pittsburgh Craft Beer scene. This will also commemorate our first full year of hand engine pours since debuting our cask system at last year’s Britsburgh celebration.

Up in Mt. Lebanon, we’ll be be tapping a gravity keg of this year’s ale on the bar for everyone’s enjoyment the following day on Wednesday, September 9th. This will be the final day to enjoy the Rock ‘N Rolla T-Stop Special, which just hit the Taproom menu the other day.

Both casks will be tapped at 6pm on their respective days and we’ll have British inspired pies to go along with them, as well as plenty of 4pks for anyone looking to take some beer home with them.

On Thursday, you can look to enjoy some Britsburgh-themed rounds of Drew's Clues Trivia, and we’ll be sending some a few cases of Britsburgh down to the Pop-Up for riverside pleasure.

It’s a great way to start September and send off summer! We previewed this year’s ale just yesterday, and it’s tasting GREAT! Some cans will be heading out for early distribution if you’re out on the hunt, but we’ll have fresh pints & casks waiting for ya in just a couple weeks!

HAPPY THURSDAY!

We wanted to give a quick shoutout to the Yinz Run Club for having us last week as part of their fifth anniversary celebration - Field Day! It was a beautiful evening at the Allegheny RiverTrail Park & great time watching everyone compete! Congrats to Team 7 on their win 🏆.

It was pretty swell getting our collaborative & commemorative Field Day Session IPA into everyone’s hands (including Scott’s hand… see picture 1 😜) as well! We think a light, but snappy-hoppy, and low abv beer is perfect for nights like that.

… and also nights like tonight! The early morning storms have cleared and we’re gearing up for a swanky, Thursday evening of Drew's Clues Trivia from 7-9pm in Larimer & Mt. Lebanon. Plenty of Field Day on draft for you enjoyment, and plenty of four pack, too 😎. Come on dahn.

We’re getting ready to celebrate the 12th Annual Britsburgh Festival in a couple of weeks, and Travis Floyd is getting into the spirit early with this British Sausage Roll inspired pie in Mt. Lebanon!

Fat Gary onions w/ sage, pizza cheese, banger sausage crumbles, potato chips, hp steak sauce.

This pie is looking like a proper treat and we’ll have a vegetarian and vegan version available! Look to enjoy this pie the next two weeks, and we’ll have it for a bonus day during our Mt. Lebanon Britsburgh celebrations on 9/9! Look for Larimer celebrations the day before and more details coming soon.
