Have you checked out Rib Fest this year? I went down & had a great time. It’s happening until Monday, September 7th.

I HIGHLY suggest ordering ribs from Bad A*z BBQ! They were fall off the bone tender, seasoned to perfection, & their sauce is the best of the best!! 🍖& That roasted corn on the cob was delicious!! (It was $8 tho) 🌽

If you’re looking for a place where the food & drinks look as good as they taste, look no further than Viva La Vida! Everything we tasted was delicious! Their food & drinks are so unique. You have to try their soft serve margaritas, & their burritos are humongous! The aesthetic is beautiful. 10/10 all around. 🇲🇽

We had a great time at Sesame Place! It’s so cute, so nostalgic, perfectly themed. We loved meeting Elmo, Abby, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the Sesame Street cast! ❤️

Someone please tell me are the lines always this long? Even on weekdays? We went on a Monday in hopes to avoid the lines, but that didn’t work clearly.

Hey Pittsburgh 👋

Puttshack is one of my favorite places in the city! The mini golf is super fun. I love how unique the holes are, and I appreciate that the score is tallied automatically. They have 4 different tracks, so there’s plenty to experience. If it’s busy, they’ll even have staff come serve you drinks on the course.

& Please do not sleep on their food! It’s delicious! I included some pics of our most recent meals at the end. (I am forever heartbroken that they removed the pepperoni buzz flatbread from their menu 💔)

Pro tip: sign up for their rewards program. They gift you a free game for your birthday!

Sesame Place is such a nostaligic theme park! We had a great time taking my daughter for her birthday. 🎢

Here’s my honest review:

Pros: The theming is impeccable. Super cute. I love that the water park & theme park are in the same area. The shows are awesome, definitely make time to enjoy them. There’s plenty of rides without height restrictions. I do believe kids must be able to walk independently to ride most rides, regardless if they have height requirements or not. There’s also a pretty exhilarating roller coaster with no height requirement that my adrenaline seeking daughter loved! (I included our picture at the end.) Also, the admission price wasn’t bad.

Cons: It took us an hour just to get into the park. I’ve never experienced such a slow moving line. & We went on a Monday!! We paid a pretty penny for the dine with Elmo & friends. We arrived early to our reservation, and we had to wait in yet another line. They had us waiting so long that we missed part of the show while waiting in line for food. Keep in mind there was still a long line behind us. Luckily, we got the fast pass, so we didn’t have to wait in the lines for rides.

Overall, we had lots of fun, just be prepared to wait in long lines.

Heyy Pittsburgh 👋

I’m officially obsessed with Pleasant Kingdom Playground! 🛝 It’s basically a huge wooden castle with plenty of slides, watchtowers, wobbly bridges, balance beams, and of course swings. 🏰 My daughter & I had the best time exploring all the tunnels, playing in the store, & putting on performances on the stage. Definitely add it to your list of parks to check out!
